Harassment
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Sept. 17, 3:14 p.m., 2900 block Sherman Ave., "RP reported his landlord is at his door and just assaulted him."  Fifty-seven year old Marshall Jay Beebe, North Bend, charged with Harassment and cited for Refusal for Breath Tests and DUII.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Thefts
Entries on the North Bend Police log involving thefts on Monday, Sept. 17, & Tuesday, Sept. 18.  At 12:44 p.m., 2300 block Marion Ave., "RP reported someone stole his compressor out of the back of his truck."  At 1:54 p.m., 1800 block Oak St., "RP reported someone entered her garage and stole 4 helmets."  On Tuesday, Sept. 18, 5:16 a.m., battery stolen out of parked vehicle on the 3600 block of Broadway Ave. at Goodwill.  At 7:31 a.m., Hamilton St., "RP reported someone stole his Marine Corp. flag from his deck last night."  At 7:45 a.m., 2000 block Sherman Ave., "RP reported someone tore apart her flower box again and stole her flowers."  At 9:40 a.m., 2400 block Maple Leaf, "RP reported someone entered his vehicle last night and rifled through everything.  Nothing missing." 

Harassment
A report of an "unknown disturbance at location," led to an arrest early Friday morning, Sept. 14, ont eh 3400 block of Scott Lane.  According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for 2:20 a.m., 28-year old Brandon Lee, North Bend, charged with Harassment Domestic and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

DOC
A report of a "male out front yelling and screaming at location," led to an arrest Thursday night, Sept. 13, on the 1600 block of Hamilton St. in North Bend.  According to an entry on the police log for 9:57 p.m., 44-year old Gary Coppenger, North Bend, was charged with Disorderly Conduct and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.  An earlier entry at 9 p.m. involving the same individual at the same address, stated, "this will be the last warning and if it occurs again he will be arrested and transported to CCJ."  There was also another entry at 8:16 p.m. at the same address, "RP requested an officer to stop by and talk to him."

Warrant
A 20-year old male was "permanently trespassed from all North Bend parks and schools, North Bend Library and Mid-Columbia Bus Co." following his arrest Thursday, Sept. 13, on the 1800 block of Monroe St.  According to an entry on the police log for 7:33 p.m., Kevin Waymon Carle was taken into custody on a Multnomah Co. Sheriff's warrant for Furnishing False Info to Police.  

Juvenile arrest
A juvenile was arrested Thursday, Sept. 13, on the 2500 block of Grant St. in North Bend.  According to an entry on the police log for 5:07 p.m., "RP reported out of control juvenile has assaulted her father.  Officer responded and transported the juvenile to Bay Area Hospital on a Police Officer Hold."  At 7:59 p.m., "Juvenile taken into custody and transported to Juvenile Detention.  Referred to Juvenile Dept. for charge Assault IV."

NB traffic grant
Police officers at North Bend utilized a grant to work overtime on a traffic safety effort Friday, Sept. 14, on Broadway Ave.  Fourteen drivers were stopped and 14 warnings issued as well as two citations.  According to multiple entries on the police log, the enforcement campaign took place between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.  10:56 a.m., Broadway & 12th, 34-year old female warned for speed; 11:13 a.m., Broadway & State, 63-year old Lakeside male cited for Violation of Basic Rule (VBR-Speeding); 11:37 a.m., Broadway & 17th, 67-year old male warned for Failure to Yield to Pedestrian in a Crosswalk; 11:41 a.m., Broadway & 11th, 45-year old female warned for Use of Cell Phone while Driving and Failure to Carry Current Proof of Insurance and Registration; 11:49 a.m., Myrtle & 17th, 48-year old Coos Bay male cited for Illegal Display of Plates, Failure to Yield to Pedestrian in a Crosswalk and DWS Violation.  Also warned for Failure to Carry Current Proof of Insurance.  License plates seized and 1985 Ford pickup truck impounded; 11:52 a.m., Virginia Ave., 49-year old male warned for Speed; 11:59 a.m., Broadway & Clark, 68-year old male warned for Speed; 12:15 p.m., Broadway & Clark, 41-year old male warned for Speed; 12:28 p.m., Broadway & 16th, 38-year old female warned for Speed; 12:39 p.m., Broadway & 13th, 76-year old female warned for Speed; 12:47 p.m., 11th & Everett, 70-year old female warned for Speed; 12:57 p.m., Broadway & 16th, 32-year old male warned for Failure to Yield for Pedestrian in a Crosswalk; 1:05 p.m., Broadway Ave., 30-year old Granada Hills, CA male cited for Passing a Vehicle Stopped at a Crosswalk, and warned for Failure to Yield to a Pedestrian in a Crosswalk; 1:08 p.m., Broadway & 16th, 24-year old female warned for Failure to Yield to Pedestrian in a Crosswalk and Following Too Close.

Stalking
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Saturday, Sept. 15, 1700 block Virginia Ave., "RP reported subject in store that he has protection order against just threatened him."  Forty-eight year old James Thomas Mossett arrested for Violation of Stalking Protection Order and PCS 1 Oz. Marijuana within 1,000 feet of a School.

Theft
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2051 Newmark Ave., Coos Bay, 4:08 p.m., "officer out in Walmart parking lot, attempt to locate suspect from another case."  Thirty-year old Dayleen R. Austin, Bandon, charged with Theft II, PCS Schedule II and PCS Schedule IV.  Permanently trespassed from Walmart.

Warrant
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2:31 p.m., 3600 block Broadway Ave., "RP request officer for shoplifter.  Officer responded, took report, and responded to Walmart to attempt to locate suspect.  Officer located the suspect at Walmart."  Thirty-two year old Dayleen R. Austin, Bandon, arrested on Curry Co. Sheriff's warrant for Theft II, Failure to Appear.  "Austin warned for attempted theft at Goodwill and was trespassed permanently from that location."

UEMVs
Entries on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Sept. 11, involving Unauthorized Entry Motor Vehice.  At 6:30 a.m., 1800 block Monroe, Mid Columbia Bus Company, "RP reported that several buses were broken into last night and items taken."  At 7:47 a.m., 500 block Clark St., "RP reported her vehicle entered overnight and door left open, a GPS she bought for $143 and IPod Nano was taken, RP will call back if she discovers anything else missing.  At 12:29 p.m., 500 block Clark St., "RP reported sometime overnight his vehicle was jimmied open and a digital camera and radar detector was taken, approximate value $220."

Warrant
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, Sept. 9, 5:07 p.m., Sherman Ave. & Oregon St., "RP reported her daughter is following suspect in a UUV involving their already recovered vehicle.  Officers respond and located the subject, CCSO advised they already have the suspect in the case the RP is indicating."  Warrant served on 19-year old Phillip J. Brazille for Burglary I.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Interfering
He allegedly threw her cell phone on the roof of a house on Mullen Road in the Bunker Hill area of Coos Bay Friday, Sept. 7, when she wanted to call police.  According to a news release from the Coos Co. Sheriff's Office, 33-year old Jacob M. Baumgardner, Coos Bay, was arrested on a charge of Interfering with Making a Police Report after deputies responded at 8:59 p.m. "to a report of disturbance in progress."  The 33-year old female was not injured during the incident.

Warrant
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Thursday, Sept. 6, 10:24 a.m., Oak St. & Kinney Road, warrant served on 25-year old Samantha May Richardson Shay for Failure to Appear on original charge of Burglary II.

Warrant
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, Sept. 7, 11:09 p.m., Hwy. 101 & Clark St., "attempt warrant service."  Forty-two year old June Marie Seets, Reedsport, arrested on RPD warrant for Contempt of Court, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.  She was taken to the Lakeside area and then transferred to Reedsport PD.

Assault
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, Sept. 7, 4:59 p.m., 3201 Tremont Ave., "Mill Security request officer for Assault."  Fifty-two year old Robert Richard Nardone cited in lieu of custody for Disorderly Conduct II, Criminal Trespass II and he was permanently trespassed from all property.

MIP party
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Saturday, Sept. 8, 8:53 p.m., 2600 block D St., "anonymous male reported possible MIP/Party at location.  Officers responded/citations issued."  Twenty-five year old Jonathan Cook, Coos Bay, cited and released for Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor.  Eleven others were listed as "Involved/Contacted" ranging in age from 18 to 30.  An 18-year old male was cited for MIP.

Probation Violation
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2:57 p.m., 1600 block Virginia Ave., "PV Mall Security reported a female attempted to sell 'meth' to a worker at Pet Mart."  Thirty-two year old Amanda Graves-Belecz, Eugene, taken into custody for Probation Violation and also charged with PCS Schedule I.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Probable Cause
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2:13 p.m., 1900 block McPherson Ave., "officer responding to NB Courts to attempt to locate male subject we have PC on."  Forty-eight year old Steven Wayne Blum, North Bend, arrested on Probable Cause from original call on August 27, Hit & Run, Failure to Perform the Duties of a Driver and two-counts of Reckless Endangering.  Parole and Probation placed an additional Detainer for Probation Violation.  He was transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Stuck dachshund
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Sept. 4, 10:32 a.m., 2600 block State St., "RP request assistance with her Dachshund 3 month old dog who got its head stuck in a tire rim.  Officer respond and advised dog is resisting quite a bit, suggested to them that they contact a vet.  Subjects did so and will take the dog there."

Bridge accident
An accident between a motorcycle and a vehicle on the McCullough Bridge Monday, Sept. 3, 2:57 p.m., resulted in a citation to one driver and a warning to the other.  According to an entry on the North Bend Police log, 60-year old Terry Ray Jones was operating a Kawasaki motorcycle when he collided with a 1992 Buick operated by 21-year old Sara Lousie Martin, North Bend.  A passenger on the motorcycle was transported to Bay Area Hospital in Coos Bay.  Jones was warned for Following Too Closely.  Martin was cited for DWS Violation and Driving Uninsured.

Warrant
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Sept. 3, 4:47 a.m., 2000 block Monroe Ave., 40-year old Thomas Pusztai, North Bend, arrested on Oregon State Parole Board warrant for Parole Violation on original charge of Unauthorized Use Vehicle.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Furnishing
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Sept. 3, 2:30 a.m., "report of verbal dispute at location male/female."  Thirty-seven year old Victoria Guzman cited and released for Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor.  Two juveniles will be referred for MIP Alcohol.

Uncooperative
A female allegedly wandering through people's yards in the Vermont and Meade street areas of North Bend Sunday, Sept. 2, was arrested after she was contacted on the 2100 block of Meade.  According to an entry on the police log for 4:11 p.m., 30-year old Danielle Elizabeth Welsh, North Bend, was charged with Criminal Trespass II, Resisting Arrested, Disorderly Conduct, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Menacing, Attempted Assault on Police Officer and PCS Schedule I.  She was transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Assault
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, Sept. 2, 5:35 a.m., 1000 block State St., "subjects fighting in the area, glass breaking."  Twenty-year old Kayla M. Baldbridge, North Bend, arrested on Assault IV Domestic charge and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Gas thief
Entries on the North Bend Police log for Sunday morning, Sept. 2, involving gas stolen out of vehicles.  At 6:10 a.m., 1000 block State St.; at 7:05 a.m., 1000 block State St.; at 7:11 a.m., 3200 block Chester St.; at 7:14 a.m., 900 block State St.

Bathroom threats
A report of a "male transient in bathroom making threats," Thursday, August 30, 9:24 p.m., resulted in an arrest.  According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for 1735 Virginia Ave., Safeway, 44-year old Charles R. Murphy, Powers, arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Trespass II, Criminal Mischief III and PCS Less than an Oz. within 1,000 feet of School.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.  Earlier, at 8:17 p.m., the same individual was trespassed permanently from all Pony Village Mall property.  "He caused significant criminal mischief to the restroom and he was required to clean it up before leaving."

DUII
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, August 31, 11:31 p.m., 1300 block Sherman Ave., 42-year old Matthew Boggess, Alabama, cited for DUII and Refusal to Blow.  He was transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Theft
A 34-year old male was arrested on a charge of Theft following a report of a theft of a router on Friday, August 31, on the 1900 block of Sherman Ave. in North Bend.  According to an entry on the police log for 5:51 p.m., Joshua A. Hemion, Coos Bay, was charged with Theft II and Probation Violation.

DUII
He allegedly rear-ended a taxi while driving intoxicated.  According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Saturday, Sept. 1, 10:39 p.m., Newmark and Tremont, "Yellow Cab rear ended and suspect vehicle left the scene."  Forty-seven year old Duane Long, Coos Bay was cited for DUII, Failure to Perform the Duties of a Driver, and Driving without Insurance.  He was transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Marijuana
A reported dispute between a brother and sister at a residence on the 3100 block of Chester St. Saturday, Sept. 1, 3:52 p.m., led to the referral of two juveniles to the Juvenile Department after they were found to be in possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.  According to an entry on the police log, "two other juveniles that were at the residence had less than an Oz. of MJ seized from them."  One was also referred for MIP Tobacco.  Both were released to a responsible party.
