A man wanted in Douglas Co. was arrested Thursday, Dec. 8, near the Airport and Spinreel in the Lakeside area by a U.S. Forest Service officer, who then contacted Lincoln County. According to an entry on the Coos Co. Sheriff’s log for 2:27 p.m., 53-year old John Langley was wanted for Probation Violation on an original charge of DUII. He was transported to the Douglas Co. Jail by a Douglas County Sheriff’s deputy.
A 29-year old female reported a “dispute” on Everest Road early Saturday morning, Dec. 10, led to an arrest. According to an entry on the Coos Co. Sheriff’s log for 1:41 a.m., “female on cell, physical altercation; gun safe in house, male is trying to get into it.” Thirty-two year old Dakota Mayer arrested on charges of two-counts Menacing, Assault IV, Harassment and Resisting Arrest. Victim listed as 31-year old female.
According to an entry on the Coos Co. Sheriff’s log for Friday, Dec. 9, 10:45 p.m., Duling Road , “man beating wife, suspect intoxicated, no weapons at this time.” Fifty-year old Anthony Lee Collins arrested on charges of Assault IV Domestic and transported to the county jail at Coquille.
According to an entry on the Coos Co. Sheriff’s log for Friday, Dec. 9, 7:18 p.m., McGill Loop, 44-year old female reported, “unlawful entry into Motor Vehicle. “Silva is intoxicated. Is inside a vehicle on the Property.” Referred to DA for UEMV.
