Harassment
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Sept. 17, 3:14 p.m., 2900 block Sherman Ave., "RP reported his landlord is at his door and just assaulted him."  Fifty-seven year old Marshall Jay Beebe, North Bend, charged with Harassment and cited for Refusal for Breath Tests and DUII.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Thefts
Entries on the North Bend Police log involving thefts on Monday, Sept. 17, & Tuesday, Sept. 18.  At 12:44 p.m., 2300 block Marion Ave., "RP reported someone stole his compressor out of the back of his truck."  At 1:54 p.m., 1800 block Oak St., "RP reported someone entered her garage and stole 4 helmets."  On Tuesday, Sept. 18, 5:16 a.m., battery stolen out of parked vehicle on the 3600 block of Broadway Ave. at Goodwill.  At 7:31 a.m., Hamilton St., "RP reported someone stole his Marine Corp. flag from his deck last night."  At 7:45 a.m., 2000 block Sherman Ave., "RP reported someone tore apart her flower box again and stole her flowers."  At 9:40 a.m., 2400 block Maple Leaf, "RP reported someone entered his vehicle last night and rifled through everything.  Nothing missing." 

Warrant
According to an entry on the Coquille Police log for Monday, Sept. 17, 3:34 p.m., 100 block No. Adams St., "subject at P&P Offices to turn themselves in."  Fifty-year old Larae Withrow arrested on CQPD warrant for Probation Violation, DUII, Recklessly Endangering Another.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Burglary
A burglary alarm early Tuesday morning, Sept. 18, 2:06 a.m., at the Alternative Youth Academy on the 500 block of So. Main St., resulted in an arrest.  According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log, 25-year old Joseph Cole was charged with Burglary II, Criminal Mischief II, Theft III and PCS Less than an Oz. Marijuana within 1,000 feet of a School.

Wanted
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Monday, Sept. 17, 12:45 p.m., So. Empire Blvd. & Newmark, "Attempt to locate wanted subject."  Thirty-year old William Postlethwait arrested on Jackson Co. warrant for Failure to Appear on original charge of Resisting Arrest.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Relationships
Monday, Sept. 17 was a rough day for some relationships according to five entries on the Coos Co. Sheriff's log.  At 6:11 p.m., Cape Arago Hwy., Coos Bay, "phone harassment.  Subject keeps calling RP and leaving messages he is going to do things to her world.  RP has messages saved.  Dispatch called subject and told him to stop calling the RP or he could go to jail."  At 4:10 p.m., Cape Arago Hwy., Coos Bay, "dispute, male vs. female, handles by Tribal."  At 12:16 p.m., Rosa Road, Bandon, "daughters boyfriend refusing to let RP's daughter and baby leave the residence.  Female and child stayed at residence, all others leaving, trespass charges to be referred to DA."  At 1:56 a.m., Jerome Road, Coos Bay, "subject called on out of contract cell phone, wanting info about a divorce.  Could hear female crying in background.  Verbal only, will leave each other alone for the night."  At midnight, Harvard St., Bandon, "open line 911 dispute male vs. female, verbal only, male walking to Coos."

Theft
A former employee was arrested Sunday, Sept. 16, on a warrant out of California during an investigation into the theft of a 2001 Chevrolet pickup truck, a Polaris four-wheeler, farm equipment and horse tack in the Coaledo area north of Coquille.  According to a news release from the Coos Co. Sheriff's Office, a 66-year old female reported the theft from her ranch and boarding stables on Knutson Lane Sept. 10.  On Thursday, Sept. 13, police located the truck abandoned just outside of Coquille.  On Sunday, Sept. 16, investigators located 36-year old Gigett F. Bowen at a residence on Fishtrap Road, Coquille, and arrested her on a warrant from Merced, CA.  Additional charges of Unauthorized Use of Vehicle and Theft I were added.  She was transported to the county jail at Coquille pending extradition to California.  The investigation is continuing.

DUII
A traffic stop on the Cape Arago Hwy. at Pacific Ave. in Coos Bay Sunday night, Sept. 16, 10:12 p.m., resulted in an arrest for DUII.  According to a news release from the Coos Co. Sheriff's Office, 36-year old Eden Keller, Coos Bay, was also charged with Resisting Arrest and Reckless Endangering.  A breath test at the jail in Coquille revealed a blood-alcohol level of .14%.

Loud music
A complaint about "loud music," Sunday, Sept. 16, 10:15 p.m., 1100 block Anderson Ave., led to an arrest.  According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log, 44-year old Martin Solinger was charged with Probation Violation and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Intoxicated
A report of "intoxicated subjects" on the Coos Bay Boardwalk Sunday, Sept. 16, 6:53 p.m., resulted in an arrest.  According to an entry on the police log, 23-year old Jay Wilson was charged with Interfering with Police Officer.

VRO
A report of "dog bite victim in the ER," led to an arrest Sunday, Sept. 16, in Coos Bay.  According to an entry on the police log for 12:97 p.m., Crocker & Margreeta, 49-year old Gene Garcia arrested on a charge of Violation of Restraining Order following a complaint by a 42-year old female.

Drugs
According to an entry on the Coquille Police log for Sunday, Sept. 16, 10:28 p.m., Fishtrap Boat Ramp, "suspicious vehicle."  Twenty-seven year old Matthew Smith arrested on charge of PCS II and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Sex Abuse
According to an entry on the Coquille Police log for Friday, Sept. 14, 5:31 p.m., 600 block E. 12th, "follow up," 50-year old William Rife arrested on two-counts of Sex Abuse I and one-count of Attempted Sex Abuse.

Shoplift
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Friday, Sept. 14, 1:07 a.m., 2051 Newmark Ave., Walmart, "Shoplift."  Twenty-six year old Timothy J. Webb arrested on charge of Theft II and Attempt to Elude on Foot.  He was transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Wanted
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Friday, Sept. 14, 1:07 a.m., "Medford PD located wanted subject."  Twenty-nine year old Scott Anthony Patterson arrested on CBPD warrant for Probation Violation on original charge of Felony Possession Meth.

Narcotics investigation
A report of "vehicle racing up the alleyway," at 11th & Central in Coos Bay Thursday night, Sept. 13, 10:54 p.m., led to an arrest on narcotics charges.  According to an entry on the police log, 55-year old Raymond Douglas Blodgett was charged with MCS, DCS, PCS Schedule I Meth, two-counts of Felon in Possession of Firearm and Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon.  He was transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Warrant
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Friday, Sept. 14, 11:46 p.m., 1400 block Juniper, "dispute," 18-year old Scott Lee Smith arrested on MacLaren warrant for Assault - Conspiracy to Assault.  He was transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Wanted
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Friday, Sept. 14, 8:25 p.m., 1900 block No. 7th St., "location of wanted subject," 23-year old Christopher James Page arrested on CCSO warrant for Failure to Appear on original charge of Contempt of Court.  He was transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

DUII
Medical was summoned to a reported motor vehicle accident at Hillside Court and Hemlock in Coos Bay Friday, Sept. 14.  According to an entry on the police log for 2:38 p.m., the vehicle overturned.  Sixty-seven year old Marilyn Smith was charged with DUII.

Concealed Weapon
A 32-year old male was arrested early Sunday morning, Sept. 16, Ocean Blvd. & Radar Road.  According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for 1:44 a.m., Jason Shumate was charged with Carry Concealed Weapon and cited for PCS Less than an Oz. Marijuana.

DUII
According to an entry on the Coquille Police log for Saturday, Sept. 15, 9:25 p.m., 20-year old Aaron M. James charged with DUII and released from CBPD.

Criminal Trespass
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Saturday, Sept. 15, 8:04 p.m., 149 S. 7th St., McKay's, 46-year old Forest Franklin Martin charged with Criminal Trespass II and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Shoplifters
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Saturday, Sept. 15, 7:05 p.m., 149 S. 7th, McKay's, "shoplifters in custody."  Twenty-eight year old Sarah McNamara charged with Criminal Trespass I, Theft III, Probation Violation Detainer and CBPD warrant for Probation Violation on original charge of Possession Meth.  She was transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.  Thirty-four year old Diona M. Donald was charged with Theft III.

Probation Violation
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Saturday, Sept. 15, 3:52 p.m., Boardwalk, 46-year old Steven Bowen arrested on a Probation Violation charge.

Harassment
A report of an "unknown disturbance at location," led to an arrest early Friday morning, Sept. 14, ont eh 3400 block of Scott Lane.  According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for 2:20 a.m., 28-year old Brandon Lee, North Bend, charged with Harassment Domestic and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

DOC
A report of a "male out front yelling and screaming at location," led to an arrest Thursday night, Sept. 13, on the 1600 block of Hamilton St. in North Bend.  According to an entry on the police log for 9:57 p.m., 44-year old Gary Coppenger, North Bend, was charged with Disorderly Conduct and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.  An earlier entry at 9 p.m. involving the same individual at the same address, stated, "this will be the last warning and if it occurs again he will be arrested and transported to CCJ."  There was also another entry at 8:16 p.m. at the same address, "RP requested an officer to stop by and talk to him."

Warrant
A 20-year old male was "permanently trespassed from all North Bend parks and schools, North Bend Library and Mid-Columbia Bus Co." following his arrest Thursday, Sept. 13, on the 1800 block of Monroe St.  According to an entry on the police log for 7:33 p.m., Kevin Waymon Carle was taken into custody on a Multnomah Co. Sheriff's warrant for Furnishing False Info to Police.  

Juvenile arrest
A juvenile was arrested Thursday, Sept. 13, on the 2500 block of Grant St. in North Bend.  According to an entry on the police log for 5:07 p.m., "RP reported out of control juvenile has assaulted her father.  Officer responded and transported the juvenile to Bay Area Hospital on a Police Officer Hold."  At 7:59 p.m., "Juvenile taken into custody and transported to Juvenile Detention.  Referred to Juvenile Dept. for charge Assault IV."

NB traffic grant
Police officers at North Bend utilized a grant to work overtime on a traffic safety effort Friday, Sept. 14, on Broadway Ave.  Fourteen drivers were stopped and 14 warnings issued as well as two citations.  According to multiple entries on the police log, the enforcement campaign took place between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.  10:56 a.m., Broadway & 12th, 34-year old female warned for speed; 11:13 a.m., Broadway & State, 63-year old Lakeside male cited for Violation of Basic Rule (VBR-Speeding); 11:37 a.m., Broadway & 17th, 67-year old male warned for Failure to Yield to Pedestrian in a Crosswalk; 11:41 a.m., Broadway & 11th, 45-year old female warned for Use of Cell Phone while Driving and Failure to Carry Current Proof of Insurance and Registration; 11:49 a.m., Myrtle & 17th, 48-year old Coos Bay male cited for Illegal Display of Plates, Failure to Yield to Pedestrian in a Crosswalk and DWS Violation.  Also warned for Failure to Carry Current Proof of Insurance.  License plates seized and 1985 Ford pickup truck impounded; 11:52 a.m., Virginia Ave., 49-year old male warned for Speed; 11:59 a.m., Broadway & Clark, 68-year old male warned for Speed; 12:15 p.m., Broadway & Clark, 41-year old male warned for Speed; 12:28 p.m., Broadway & 16th, 38-year old female warned for Speed; 12:39 p.m., Broadway & 13th, 76-year old female warned for Speed; 12:47 p.m., 11th & Everett, 70-year old female warned for Speed; 12:57 p.m., Broadway & 16th, 32-year old male warned for Failure to Yield for Pedestrian in a Crosswalk; 1:05 p.m., Broadway Ave., 30-year old Granada Hills, CA male cited for Passing a Vehicle Stopped at a Crosswalk, and warned for Failure to Yield to a Pedestrian in a Crosswalk; 1:08 p.m., Broadway & 16th, 24-year old female warned for Failure to Yield to Pedestrian in a Crosswalk and Following Too Close.

Stalking
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Saturday, Sept. 15, 1700 block Virginia Ave., "RP reported subject in store that he has protection order against just threatened him."  Forty-eight year old James Thomas Mossett arrested for Violation of Stalking Protection Order and PCS 1 Oz. Marijuana within 1,000 feet of a School.
